The Nursery has been offering childcare since the year 2000. The nursery is housed in an old house located on Pershore Road. Pershore Road, blessed with bright, airy, large spaces that are open and have ample outdoor space.
All staff members are certified to NVQ level 3 on nursery education (exceptions that are apprentices) and hold an initial certificate in food safety and first aid for children (in addition to numerous other certificates) Most of them are employed at the nursery for eight or 9 years The the Deputy Director Tracy Diane and Deputy Manager Tracy Diane have been employed at Inglenook for over 20 years.
We are adamant about the use of technology which can be seen throughout our Nursery with every room and each staff member using tablets to keep track of the progression of each child's development and progress towards The early year's foundation stage through their time in Nursery, which is shared with parents through our portal for parents.
Our Preschool room is equipped with the interactive touchscreen table that research has proven aids children's overall engagement, knowledge of letters and numbers, and helps in collaborative work.
The partnership between parents and children is vital to children's development and learning. Here Inglenook Inglenook we understand the importance of a partnership and aim to foster that there is a mutually beneficial relationship between the home and the nursery.
Every child is assigned as a Key Person. This person is a key player in the relationship and parents will benefit from having a single initial point of contact in the Nursery. They will act as a reassuring, familiar face, and will be able to give feedback on a regular basis, session per session basis, and to deal with any issues.
In relation to Ofsted and our rating because of the recent change of ownership, our Ofsted registered name has changed and we're now waiting for inspections under the new owner, however, our most recent Ofsted inspection in the year 2018 for your details was graded as "Good"
